DNA is de basis van het leven en de blauwdruk voor ons bestaan. Ieder mens heeft een eigen bouwplan verspreid over de 23 x en 23 y chromosomen.
Under Construction:
Het kind is, veilig in de baarmoeder, nog in wording en ONDERWEG naar het leven daarbuiten.
De regenboogkleuren geven aan dat de sekse van het kind nog onbekend is evenals alle invloeden van buitenaf die de identiteit van dit kind zullen gaan bepalen. Het kan nog alle kanten op!
Dit werk was onderdeel van de "La Leqc" tentoonstelling 2019 met als thema:
GRID/Under Construction.
GRID:
DNA is the basis of life and the blueprint for our existence. Every person has their own building plan spread over the 23 x and 23 y chromosomes.
Under Construction:
The child is safe in the womb, still in the making, and on it's way to the life outside.
The rainbow colors indicate that the child's gender is still unknown, as well as all external influences that will determine the identity of this child. It can still go either way!
